Wholesale Leased Lines PDH/SDH & Analogue Leased Lines Minimize

Wholesale Leased Lines (WLLs) PDH/SDH & Analogue Leased Lines are used by a Telecommunication Service Provider to interconnect either its own nodes or one of its clients to its network with dedicated and transparent transmission capacity. Furthermore, a Telecommunication Service Provider is able to gather traffic from Terminating and Trunk Segments into Transmission Links at the LLCNos and L/Es.

Wholesale Leased Lines via OTE’s network - which has extensive national coverage in more than 2000 L/Es - provide advantageous solutions adapted to the special needs of Telecommunications Service Providers, a high level of availability and service management, and flexible use of a range of capacities.

Usage
Development of the backbone network
providing extended commercial activities of Service Providers to new points of presence, instant and affordable use of Terminating and Trunk Segment network.
Connection with LLCNos or L/Es
to carry traffic from and to their Service Provider’s nodes with dedicated capacity for service provisioning.
Connection with clients

via dedicated capacities of Connected end-to-end Circuits or Terminating Segments.


Available Services

Analogue Circuits (PTP)

Analogue leased lines, used to interconnect either Service Provider’s own nodes or the Service Provider with one of its clients via the OTE Digital Centers.

Analogue Leased Lines are available at M1020/25 quality appropriate for Data transmission, and M1040 quality appropriate for Voice transmission

Point to Point Circuits (PTP)

Digital leased lines (PTP), used to interconnect either Service Provider’s own nodes or the Service Provider with one of its clients via the OTE Digital Centers.

Available capacities from 64Kbps to 622Mbps for local or trunk connection.

Terminating Segments

Symmetric connections with dedicated capacity of digital technology, used by a Service Provider to connect either its own nodes or its clients to the nearest LLCN or L/E, delivered via a Transmission Link.

Available capacities from 64Kbps to 622Mbps.

Trunk Segments

Symmetric connections with dedicated capacity between two LLCNos that allow their interconnection, delivered via two Transmission Links or via a Transmission Link and a Terminating Segment.

Available capacities from 64Kbps to 622Mbps.

Transmission Links

An additional service used for delivering terminating and trunk segments of Wholesale Leased Lines to a Service Provider. They are defined as links between the Service Provider’s Point of Presence (PoP) or network and the OTE network LLCN or L/E.


Available capacities from 2Mbps to 622Mbps for Full Span Transmission Link and Physical Collocation Transmission Link, and 155 Mbps and 622 Mbps for In Span Transmission Link.

Connected Extension Circuits

An additional service used for related facility’s needs (Backhaul). They are defined as links between OTE network LLCN or L/E – in which Service Provider has a Physical Collocation – and  Service Provider’s Point of Presence (PoP), delivered via a Physical Collocation Transmission Link

Available capacities from 34Mbps to 622Mbps.
