Architecture & Interconnection

The Provider selects the interconnection method per point of presence, while the service terminates:

  • in an external steel cabinet (single-family houses)
  • in an internal distribution frame (multi-dwelling buildings)

A complementary DSLAM O.K.SY.A./SY.ME.F.S. service is required for routing traffic to your network.

Take advantage of existing infrastructure to reach your customers with high speeds, reliable service and reduced rollout costs.

VPU

The VPU service (Virtual Partial Unbundled Local Loop Access) enables providers to offer subscribers xDSL connections through OTE’s equipment (DSLAM OTE), while voice services can be delivered via the provider’s own equipment hosted in the Co-location area.

The VPU service is no longer available for new activations. For existing VPU services, management of fault reports, disconnections, and conversions from VPU to VPU Light remains available.

Wholesale xDSL Service

OTE Wholesale’s xDSL portfolio provides robust data transmission from and to the internet, offering available service plans with downstream/upstream speeds up to 50/5 Mbps.

The available options include:

  • A.RY.S 24/1 Mbps (ADSL)
  • V-A.RY.S 30/3 Mbps (VDSL)
