Through interconnection, subscribers gain access to OTE's and other networks' Short Codes and Non-Geographic Numbers.
This enables access to public emergency services, assistance, information, multimedia content, and premium or free-of-charge numbers.

Interconnection FAQs
- Initially, you must submit to OTE the completed Initial Interconnection Application, which shall include the following:
- Company details (Registered name, Trade name, Contact details, Representation, etc.)
- The Interconnection Services you wish to receive from OTE
- The responsible department for invoice delivery (including its contact details)
- The necessary Legal Documents (Company’s Articles of Association, GEMI Certificates, Certificate from the competent Court of First Instance, Tax Office Certificate of Business Commencement)
- Description of your network’s interconnection nodes and equipment (I-SBCs)
- Topology – installation points of your network’s I-SBCs
- Choice of physical interconnection method (Sharing the implementation of optical infrastructure in Athens – Thessaloniki or implementation by OTE using Wholesale Leased Lines with Ethernet technology)
- Recording of logical interconnection details (number of I-SBCs and SIP-Trunks in your network)
- Registration of the desired interconnection capacity in voice channels
- Date of application submission

An Interconnection Agreement is then drafted by OTE and sent to you. The Agreement is first signed by you and then by OTE.

The physical and logical interconnection is implemented according to the details completed in the Initial Interconnection Application and as agreed between the two parties. Relevant tests are then carried out. After the successful completion of the tests, the service start date is mutually agreed, from which point the service billing begins.
