NP FAQs
- First, you submit an application to the Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission (EETT) for the assignment of numbering ranges (optional) and a portability prefix. The application is submitted via EETT’s dedicated online platform “Business and Licensing Registry”: https://eregistry.eett.gr
- Next, you submit an application to EETT for connecting your company to the National Reference Database for Number Portability (NRDB-NP) using the relevant form available at https://www.foritotita.gr/?page_id=105. After the application is submitted, EETT will contact you to complete the process of providing you with a Provider Code as well as access credentials for connecting to the NRDB-NP Information System.
- Subsequently, you notify OTE and the other Providers, through the designated points of contact, of the portability prefix 5xxxx and any assigned numbering ranges. Additionally, you inform OTE of the details requested (contact details and company information) required for updating OTE’s Information Systems. At the same time, you sign a portability agreement with OTE.
- Finally, you await confirmation from OTE’s responsible department regarding the completion of the activation of the portability prefix in OTE’s network.
