The O.K.SY.A. service (Integrated Central ADSL Interconnection) concerns the physical and logical interconnection of the provider’s equipment with OTE’s broadband network, enabling the transfer of the provider’s subscriber data traffic.
It is distinguished into BRAS-type O.K.SY.A. (O.K.SY.A. BRAS) and DSLAM-type O.K.SY.A. (O.K.SY.A. DSLAM).
O.K.SY.A. BRAS
Connection between the provider’s facilities and the BRAS (Broadband Remote Access Server, BRAS) covering the end customer.
- Borders are defined by the OTE BRAS and the point you choose to connect to*:
1.Physical Colocation space (PC)**
2.Provider’s facilities
3.Provider Manhole (PM)
- Delivered at national, regional, or local level, depending on the coverage area you have selected.
- Available in a wide range of speeds, starting from 20Mbps and reaching up to 10Gbps.
O.K.SY.A. DSLAM
Connection of the provider’s network with the aggregation switch of the UC to which the DSLAMs are connected and where the end users are served.
- Borders are defined between the aggregation switch and the point you choose*:
1.Physical Colocation space (PC)**
2.Provider’s facilities
3.Provider’s cabinet (RC facilities)
4.Provider Manhole (PM)
- Delivered only at local level, per aggregation switch.
- Available in a wide range of speeds, from 100Mbps up to 10Gbps.
